Launching Soon

Welcome everyone to The Mirror Crack'd. We are a new mixed media/altered art style challenge blog. We will be running challenges once a month on the fifth day of each month, some of which might have prizes, but all of which the team will be choosing their Top 3 or if we have sufficient entries, their Top 5. From time to time we may ask our winner or favourite entrant to be a guest designer with us. 

If you want to join in the fun with us and enter your projects, please ensure that they meet our small list of rules and that you have read the challenge requirements for the particular challenge you are entering and that your project meets those requirements. 

We would love to see any of your mixed media/altered art style projects, but would ask that you do not enter cards into this challenge as we are NOT a card challenge blog. There are heaps of lovely card challenge blogs out there, we want to be something a bit different and for those of you who like to get messy with your art. If you want to join us with a card we run fortnightly challenges over at Crafty Cardmakers and More and you will be welcome to enter your card creations there.

We have no objections to digital imagery being used in your projects but would request that you do not enter something wholly created on the computer. It needs to have a physical presence and not just exist in the virtual world!

We have a fabulous new Design Team who we will be introducing over the next few weeks, and our first challenge will go live on 5th September.
