#07 Wings

Welcome to our March Challenge.

Our theme for the month is Wings. We want to see ANYTHING (apart from cards) you can create with wings.

Instead of a physical prize this month we would like to offer our Winner a Guest Designer spot for a future challenge.

We hope our fabulous Design Team can inspire you. Please pop by their blogs and show them your appreciation

An art journal page done with fabric, washi tape, Decou-Page glue and sealant, white Gesso, black archival stamping ink, Faber Castell Artist Pens and Brushos.

I decorated this paper bag with lots of  ornaments mod molds!

My little quirky Angel with a bit of attitude.
An eclectic mix of media to make her... the hardest part for me was drawing the face!
Hop across to my Blog for the steps on how she came together.

Hi everyone! I am showing my take on the theme ,,wings"
- an art journal page in green.
Full of mixed media products with  gold embossed wings.
I created a shadow box and used my favourite G45 paper to make the picture, I added mechanical wings to the female to let her fly, the poor thing looks so sad! I added feathers and butterflies in the bottles. The frame has lots of distress elements. It was fun to make but difficult for me to move away from butterflies, birds and dragonflies to stick to the Wings challenge!

Spring is in the air and lures us into the nature!
When the sun's first rays begin to tickle our skin
and the days start to become longer following the cold time of year and Snowdrops are blooming
people's moods improve.
Spread your wings and let your imagination run free!

I had fun with some of my altered fabrics to create a soft sculptured cloud.
A car drive was the inspiration for this but you will have to pop-over to my blog to find out more.
Happy crafting, Angela x

Here is a little fun box I made for a friend who was blessed with another grand baby.  I thought it was fun to give a present to the grandma. My boxes are made with polymer clay tiles, that I hand make, stamp and embellish, also some glass tiles, lots of beads and icons. I use little wood boxes to start with, then I paint them and add stamps and markers.  The little legs on this one are glued on findings. If you would like to see more of my artwork please visit me over at my Blog, I also have a youtube video on making clay tiles if you're interested. Clay Tiles Video
Thank you! xo

I used the 'Caught in Crystal' technique with paints, glitter and fragments to create the orange/green backgrounds. I've also used acrylic paint and gilding wax.

The team have worked hard on their lovely pieces, I am sure they would appreciate a visit and you leaving them some love!

So over to you .......
